Health Savings Account

A Health Savings Account, or HSA, is a tax-exempt trust or custodial account established exclusively for the purpose of paying or reimbursing qualified medical expenses for you, your spouse, and your dependents. An HSA gives you flexibility and control of your healthcare costs and decisions, helping you manage your personal savings. However, since the HSA account has tax benefits there are rules. We urge you to verify with your employer, health insurance provider, or tax or legal professional that you are eligible for an HSA and what your specific contribution limits are.
