We are pleased to provide access to the nation’s largest ATM network. Energy One members now have access to over 80,000 surcharge-free ATMs. Many are conveniently located in destination retail outlets including major discount retailers, convenience, grocery, and pharmacy stores. Visit the locator for the ATMs near where you live, shop, or work.

We’re sure you can find a participating ATM near you! This partnership will allow Energy One cardholders to avoid the surcharge added to your ATM withdrawal. However, credit union withdrawal limits and fees still apply. Check our fee schedule for the details.

Premier One members get 5 free ATM withdrawals a month at non-Energy One ATMs. All other checking accounts get 2 free each month.

Many merchants also allow you to get cash back on your purchase when you choose “debit” and enter your PIN. There is no limit or fee from the credit union to get cash this way!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my current card? Yes! There is no additional sign-up or action required to activate a debit or an ATM card.

The ATM looked like it was owned by another bank – will that bank charge me for using the machine? Many network machines are owned and operated by other banks or credit unions, however, that does not interfere with your surcharge free access.

The surcharge screen appeared when I attempted a transaction – will I get charged the fee? No, the surcharge screen is there to notify customers of non-participating institutions. Just press “Yes” to accept the fee and continue with your transaction.

I used an ATM on the locator, but was still assessed a surcharge. Can I be reimbursed? Yes! All surcharges are guaranteed. Please use this surcharge reimbursement form to request a refund.

I used an ATM on the locator and did not get surcharged, so why did I get a separate fee? Energy One’s limits on withdrawals at non-owned machines still apply. Once you have exceeded the number of free withdrawals, a withdrawal fee will be assessed according to the fee schedule. Remember that you can use your debit card at many merchants to get cash back on your purchase, which does not count as an ATM withdrawal and is not subject to a fee.
